Happy first of July! I hope all my Canadian readers have a very happy Canada Day. For anyone who has not been to Canada, you are missing out! It is the most beautiful country in the world (IMO) – check out this photo. I have already been there 10 times yet it is at the top of my bucket list.
If you can’t escape the Australian winter and go to Canada, I have something else you can look forward to…winter strawberries! Strawberries are back in season this July and are absolutely delicious. I love to put strawberries on my cocoa porridge in the mornings (yum!!). Fruits that are no longer in season include pears and passionfruit.
The veggies in season this July are almost the same as last month but with the addition of witlof.
Which fruit or veggie are you most excited about this July? Leave me a comment, I’d love to know!
